If you haven’t noticed, ADHD content is taking the TikTok world by storm. You can barely scroll for 15 minutes before encountering someone talking about the disorder. These videos that range from funny and relatable to deeply informative are paving the way for people with ADHD to find and connect with their community. This growing band of TikTokers shows the real side of ADHD which provides comfort and understanding for those who struggle with executive dysfunction and educates those who don’t. New to ADHD TikTok? Here are the 5 tik-tokers that we think are worth the follow!

  1. Jessica McCabe (@howtoadhd)

Follow Jessica for a mix of ADHD life hacks and informative science-based videos. She answers a lot of followers’ questions, so if there’s something you’re dying to ask, Jessica’s page is the place to be. 

2. Dr. Kojosarfo (@drkojosarfo)

Dr. Kojosarfo is a Psych DNP and mental health expert and arguably the most popular ADHD tiktoker right now. His videos cover everything you could possibly want to know about ADHD, its symptoms, and how it affects different parts of your life. His feed reads like a virtual ADHD encyclopedia and is a great source to share with friends and family members who want to educate themselves.

3. Alex Watts (@alosaurophus)

Alex Watt's profile reads “ADHD, PTSD, chickens, weird” and for the most part that description is dead on! Alex covers every issue of ADHD, with a healthy dose of anxiety talk, PTSD coverage, and insightful thoughts. Oh, plus some light chicken content as he chronicles life with a small chicken coop. Want an unending pipeline of funny, relatable ADHD content? Look no further than Peter Hyphen. Peter is a mental health advocate that spills all of his experiences with ADHD from dating to work-life and then gives advice based on those encounters. He’s an account to follow if you want to find yourself saying, “so, it’s not just me who does that?” 

5. Carley (@adhadult)

Carley is not only great at showing how ADHD plays out in adult life, but how it affects women and the other mental health issues it can lead to. Plus, she’s a mental health advocate with degrees in neuroscience and Psychology, and a fellow ADHD-er! To say she knows her stuff is an understatement.
