We’re Updating our Wellness Set Formula!

We’re excited to announce that we’re officially updating our Wellness set formulas! To improve the efficacy even further, we’ve decided to switch our ashwagandha ingredient to a concentrated and branded version called KSM-66®. This switch-up is going to be available in both formulas from now on. We chose to upgrade because this specific ashwagandha is proven to improve sleep and lower stress & anxiety, two highly essential effects of our Wellness Set formula.

What is Ashwagandha?

Ashwagandha, also known as Indian ginseng and winter cherry, is an herb that belongs to the adaptogen family, known for its health advantages when consumed as teas, powders, tinctures, supplements, or in their natural state. Both its roots and berries are utilized for their medicinal properties.

What’s the difference between KSM-66 and generic Ashwaghada?

Although all types of Ashwagandha have benefits, they aren’t all created equal. KSM-66 is the highest concentration, most bioavailable full-spectrum Ashwagandha possible, making it highly effective. Moreover, KSM-66 has proven clinical studies backing it up, ensuring absolute safety and ultimate efficacy compared to generic formula. Each of these studies shows that KSM-66 has powerful anti-anxiety, anti-stress, and anti-cognitive effects for human health and longevity.

Additionally, instead of using alcohol or chemical solvents to extract from the Ashwagandha herb, KSM-66 uses milk. This makes it safe, effective, true to Ayurvedic tradition, and helps to neutralize the bitter taste Ashwagandha is known to have.

What are the benefits of Ashwagandha?

Can Reduce Stress and Anxiety

Ashwagandha is probably best known for its natural calming properties and is often used to quell stress. Studies show that the use of Ashwagandha can aid in supporting your adrenal glands by helping to normalize cortisol (the stress hormones) level’s in the body.

Multiple studies have shown the impact this supplement can have on balancing out stress. In fact, in a recent small trial with 58 participants, those who took 250 or 600 mg of ashwagandha extract for 8 weeks had significantly reduced felt stress and levels of the stress hormone cortisol compared with those who took a placebo.

Furthermore, as compared to the placebo group, the participants who took the ashwagandha supplements had much better sleep quality.

Higher energy and Increased Stamina

Ashwagandha has been demonstrated to improve athletic performance by raising energy levels while improving heart and lung capacity. This is beneficial not only for exercise but also for persons who struggle with their energy levels or suffer from fatigue-related diseases.

Regulates Blood Sugar

Although research is still limited, some studies indicate that Ashwagandha potentially has properties that can significantly lower blood sugar and may help stimulate your cells to take in glucose from your bloodstream. This research would mean that ashwagandha could be a powerful supplement for those with type 2 diabetes.

Can Boost Memory and Focus

Ashwagandha may aid in the improvement of cognition, memory, and the capacity to execute motor actions after being instructed. During a recent small study, ashwagandha significantly improved participants' reaction times during cognition and psychomotor tests when compared to a placebo.

Additionally, this study found that ashwagandha greatly increased each participants' attention span, as well as their immediate and overall memory.
